Just when OGAT seemed to be on life support, , General Goose, aka Quandale Dingle aka lickthebishop aka Dingleberry Goose, stepped in to host a grand tournament to relive the glory days. Nearly 80 participants signed up, and the tournament hall was filled with activity as veteran players returned to their arenas, mocking each other and boasting about long-forgotten victories.
Just as the first matches began, Goose vanished without a trace. The sudden disappearance left competitors in shock.
In the void left by Goose, Gucst, who had no prior experience hosting tournaments, stepped up to take charge. Representatives from all teams were gathered into a secret council where they coordinated maps, schedules, and rules with an efficiency that some OGAT analysts found suspicious for a novice host.
To investigate further, The OGAT Guardian requested a seat for its representative to protect the interests of the readers. The request was declined by Gucst themself. When invoked the OGAT Press Act §67, Gucst stated that documents would be provided, but the OGAT bureaucracy is such that few with a sound mind would attempt to retrieve them.
This only heightened the analysts’ suspicions. Upon reviewing the archives, it was noted that prior to his disappearance, Goose had promoted Gucst to a staff role but quickly removed them after judging them unfit for the responsibility. To add insult to injury, Goose publicly humiliated Gucst by assigning them the “terrible staff” position, effectively undermining their authority in front of the community.
Analysts suspect that this sequence of events may have triggered a dangerous motive: some believe Gucst might have plotted to demonstrate their hosting prowess by taking matters into their own hands. Some even speculate that Gucst used the secret e-dating channel to catfish and potentially kidnap Goose, and is now running the current tournament using his notes and guides.
