After one month of intensive building the builder’s competition has finally come to an end. This was the third time that the two builders faced each other during the competition. During both previous engagements ciabatta8.9 came out on top.
Let us take a brief look how both top competitors came to the finals. Ciabatta8.9 managed a narrow victory in the first round with his small coastal lighthouse. In the third round he build the amazing centipede that holds the highest overall score. He finished the first stage with Leonardo da Vinci's tank that brought him his third victory. In semi-finals he barely managed to win against Toilet Seat in the winter sport duel.
In contrast Zpazeeagle never managed to win in the first stage, however he finished second in each round. In the first round he made an exceptional two dimensional lighthouse, then built the controversial mother’s dish in the fourth round. His recreation of Vitruvian man was again beat by ciabatta8.9 in the fifth round. For the semi-finals he brought out everything he had against AkiraStraits and build an impressive miniature park.
During the entire competition builders were not required to build a functional map, but this all changed in the finals where competitors had to build a playable map while also being faithful to the main theme, which in this round was The Grand Monument of Guards and Thieves. Ciabatta8.9 managed to win a decisive victory by getting top scores from both the judges and from the public.
